To reach Abby’s Valley View Cabin, you will climb a gradual assent up a long blacktop driveway – no scary winding roads. As you approach the side of Abby's Valley View Cabin, you will see two driveways - one leading to the main upper level and one leading to the game room level.

The deck features several sitting areas, a Weber charcoal grill, and a hot tub. One of our favorite things to do is relax on the deck and watch the hummingbirds at the hummingbird feeder. (We try to keep hummingbird food in the cabin, so feel free to fill the feeder if it is low when you are there – they will be appreciative.) The hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a fun day of hiking in the mountains. And there is nothing like a dinner of hamburgers grilled in the fresh mountain air!

Our grandchildren just love to come to the cabin to “explore”. They have taken special delight in eating the wild blackberries that grow in the late summer just below the driveway. We built a little fenced-in play space for them in one of the side yards, and they love to hunt for little critters or pretend that they have discovered a new type of wild bird (usually prompted by the sighting of a hummingbird).

And for the adults in your group who love the outdoors, we have added a cozy gazebo.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing place to read your favorite book or to enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning, this is the perfect place to be. You will find it very peaceful here as you enjoy the mountain views.
